Iranian FM arrives in Ankara

Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left Doha for Ankara on Wednesday morning.

As the second leg of his regional tour, Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Ankara this morning to meet with Turkish senior officials and discuss the latest developments in Palestine and the ways to halt the Zionist regime’s war crimes and genocide in Gaza.

Amir-Abdollahian has begun second round of regional talks focusing on the Gaza war, which has taken him to Türkiye after Qatar.

He traveled to Doha on Tuesday and met with Qatari senior officials, including the Emir of Qatar and the Foreign Minister of the country as well as the Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of Hamas.

These visits are part of Iran’s diplomatic efforts aimed at helping the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip where the Israeli regime has been constantly conducting airstrikes since October 7 and has in recent days expanded its ground operations.
